Assuming these were all moves that were in the works before Chucky was given his walking papers. Can't imagine Flahr has the power to make moves without uncle Leo's consent. But I guess a few of these moves were no brainers so theres that...

What would it take to get Spurgeon and Staal out of Minny and to Toronto?

former Pittsburgh Penguins assistant GM and current New Jersey Devils assistant GM Tom Fitzgerald,
Columbus Blue Jackets assistant GM Bill Zito,
former Los Angeles Kings and San Jose Sharks GM Dean Lombardi,

What scares me about most of these signings is the size of the players. Anas is about 5'8" and 160lbs. Shaw is 5'9", but about 180lbs, so there is a possibility that he grows a couple more inches. Sokolov is the only one that has some credible size being 6ft and almost 210lbs. I know Kaprizov is small as well, but he appears to be extremely skilled. I don't think Anas or Shaw have those traits.

As I have said before on here, BB's system is normally running bigger players out on the ice. I see Anas as a lifetime 4th liner, with some scoring touch. I would like to know how well he plays defensively. Hoping that Shaw can added a few more inches in height and pack on about 15-20 lbs of muscle, since he is only 19. And I think with the right instructor, Sokolov can gain some foot speed...but his shot is what I really like.

I just hope a new GM is decided upon soon, so they can start putting their stamp on this team right away. And I hope that new GM sees the system that his coach uses and works that way. I know speed has become the name of the game in the NHL right now, but I think that is more for the regular season than the playoffs.
